The ASA Welcomes New Staff Members
There are some new faces at the ASA who have been hired over the last year in connection with the Alberta Centennial Legacies Grant project.
- Geraldine Harris, CAIN Project Manager. Geraldine's role is to coordinate the entire project, keep track of the financial aspects, and ensure that reports are submitted to the government in a timely fashion.

- Janet McMaster, CAIN Project Officer and System Administrator. Janet has been busy over the last few months surveying institutional members, coordinating the completion of RAD descriptions throughout the province, and organizing various training sessions. As System Administrator, Janet will be responsible for database management activities, including responding to inquiries about the new databases, and providing training for institutional members on the new system.

- Sarah Lynch, CAIN Digitization Officer. Sarah's role is to provide assistance with the completion of digitization projects, particularly in connection with the ASA's new photo database, Alberta InSight, that will be launched October 2002.

- Scott Goodine, Roving Archivist. Scott will be commencing work with the ASA on October 1, 2002. Based in Edmonton, he will be available to assist institutions with the completion of new RAD descriptions and with revisions/additions to existing descriptions. If you are interested in having Scott provide assistance with the completion of RAD descriptions at your institution, please contact Janet.
