The ASA Executive has authorized the expenditure of $3300 (which includes GST) plus up to $500 in receipted expenses to complete Phase I of a records management project as outlined below:

  • the identification of all extant records of former and current executive and committees of the Archives Society of Alberta and its predecessors;
  • the identification of those records which have permanent value;
  • the disposal of those records which have no enduring value;
  • the creation of a records retention and disposal schedule for the current records;
  • and the development of policies and procedures for the ongoing control, transfer and access to the Society's records.

If you are interested in doing this project, please submit a proposal stating your qualifications, experience in doing similar projects, and a brief description as to how you would proceed with this project, including proposed completion date.
