EXECUTIVE HIGHLIGHTS

The ASA Executive met October 18 and 19 in Edmonon, and November 22 and 23 in Calgary to discuss the Society's business.

Highlights from these two meetings include the establishment of "Vision 2000" task force, a review and clarification of guideleines for Professional Development Travel Assistance grants; a review of the draft report prepared by the Archives Advisor, Elizabeth Denham, entitled Alternative Methods of Adjudicating Grant Applications; and suggestions for consideration by the Membership, Nominations & Elections, and Awards Committee in their review of membership fees.

The minutes of the meetings of August 10 and October 18 and 19 have now been approved, and are available to the membership upon request.
