WELCOME TO WEB BROWSERS

This is the first issue of the Archives Society of Alberta Newsletter to be broadcast over the Internet. Possibly there are more people reading it on their computer screens than in the traditional paper format.

If you are reading this on the Net, we'd like to welcome you. You may not be an archival worker in Alberta, but we hope you find something here that stimulates your interest.

We are a small organization of about 250 individual members and 40 institutional members spread across the province of Alberta. Most of us are new to the Internet, so our site isn't yet as "cool" as many others. But we're working on getting better.
