Every year since its beginning the University of Alberta has had students registering for courses and degrees. Even during the two world wars, a burgeoning student population kept the campus crowded and vibrant during term. Even now, while tens of thousands register by phone, thousands of others register in person. Tens of thousands more register for courses within the Extension Faculty. The campus empties each spring, but each fall our students return like the swallows to Capistrano.
