J.B. Parkin Office, Don Mills, Ontario, Panda Photography fonds.
The practice of John B. Parkin, with John C. Parkin (no relation) as principle, was established in
the 1940s and became the largest and most influential architectural firm in Canada through the
1960s and 1970s. Organized on an "industrial" business model, the firm has been described as
"The Brain Factory" where a "beard was regarded with suspicion".
