Many a young man has had a passion for his first car, but "The Bug" was extra special. This car was built by Hec Bowen and Bobby Newman in 1937. A labour of love. Many hours of their spare time was spent assembling "The Bug" in Bowen's back yard. They collected all the parts where ever they could find them. It probably helped that Bobby worked in the local garage with Hec's brother Johnny. The car was often spotted on the road to Jasper Park Lodge and flying over the rough gravel road to Pocahontas.
