Park family Fonds : family photographs

Family photographs series. -- 1906-[ca.1960]. -- 3 photograph albums (ca.2300 prints). -- ca.450 photographs (304 prints, ca.150 negatives). -- 1 cm of textual records. -- Series consists of three sub-series:  A. Photograph albums;  B. Prints;  C. Negatives.  Photographs pertain to family travels and activities, including mountain recreation and Alpine Club of Canada camps. -- Title based on contents of series. -- File descriptions available. -- Constitutes Series I of the Park family fonds.

Hetty Park photograph album. -- 1906, 1909-1916. -- 1 photograph album (ca.400 prints). -- Pertains to Park family, friends, trips, picnics, gatherings and other activities, mainly in Ontario, also at Calgary. Includes views of Banff, Lake Louise and Calgary Stampede, 1912. Numerous views include William Park and Hetty Park; also portraits of same. -- Fragile condition.

Hetty Park photograph album. -- 1912-1923. -- 1 photograph album (ca.800 prints). -- Pertains to trips and vacations with family and friends in central Alberta, including Gull Lake, Horseshoe Canyon and EP Ranch; Pacific Coast; California; Ontario; Larch Valley ACC camp, 1923.  Includes Pollard family and other friends. -- Fragile condition.

Hetty Park photograph album. -- 1923-1958. -- 1 photograph album (ca.1100 prints). -- Pertains to trips with family and friends in England; France; Scotland; Quebec; Ontario; western Canada; Hawaii; California; South America; Hong Kong; Japan; United States; Canada (various).  Includes various Alpine Club of Canada camps, Sinclair Canyon, Banff National Park, Waterton Lakes. -- Fragile condition. Includes many loose prints.

William S. Park photographs, 12 x 17 cm. -- [1919, 192-]. -- 66 photographs : prints. -- Consists mainly of views taken at Alpine Club of Canada camps in the 1920s.  Includes landscapes, camps, mountaineers, climbs, etc.  Also includes 3 views of Edward, Prince of Wales at the EP Ranch and at Banff, 1919. -- Most have photographer's number on front.  Arranged mainly by number.

William S. Park photographs, 8 x 14 cm. -- [192-]. -- 176 photographs : prints. -- Consists mainly of Alpine Club of Canada views taken at ACC camps in the 1920s, 150 items.  Includes landscapes, camps, mountaineers, climbs, etc. Also includes views of unidentified rivers and streams, fishing, unidentified men by stream, unidentified men by cars, 26 items. -- Many bear original numbers on reverse side.  Arranged by number and subject.
