     Elizabeth Rummel fonds. -- [ca.1897]-1980. -- 60 cm of textual records. --  ca.2200 photographs : prints, postcards, transparencies, negatives. -- 5 photograph albums (400 prints). -- 2 sound recordings : audio tape reels. -- Elizabeth (Elisabeth) "Lizzie" Rummel, 1897-1980, was a lodge owner / operator, archives assistant and oral history interviewer at Banff National Park, Alberta and Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park, British Columbia.  Rummel became a member of the Order of Canada in 1980. -- Fonds consists of four series:  I. Correspondence, 1930-1980;  II. Personal papers and recordings, 1902, 1926-1980;  III. Other papers, 1926-1979;  IV. Photographs, [ca.1897]-1980. -- Location : M28 / S9 / V554.

Correspondence series. -- 1930-1980. -- 31 cm of textual records. -- Series consists of: A. General correspondence and greeting cards, 1930- 1980, 30 cm; B. Invitations and announcements, 1960-1980, 1 cm. Correspondents include Charlie Hunter, Ernest Lamarque and Erling Strom. -- Title based on contents of series. -- Correspondent/subject index available. -- Constitutes Series I of the Elizabeth Rummel fonds. -- Location : M28 / 1 to 26.

Personal papers and recordings series. -- 1902, 1926-1980. -- 18 cm of textual records. -- 2 sound recordings : audio tape reels. -- Series consists of: A. Business and financial papers, 1966-1980, 1 cm; B. Professional papers and recordings, 1970-1980, 3 cm and 2 recordings; C. Awards and tributes, 1979-1980, 1 cm; D. Briefs and speeches, 1972-1980, 1 cm; E. Travel, 1950-1977, 1 cm; F. Family, 1902, 1967-1980, 1 cm; G. General, 1926-1980, 10 cm. Sound recordings are Rummel reading in German and French from the guidebooks of Edward Feuz Jr. and Sr., 1969, and a practice tape by Rummel as an archives interviewer, 197-?
