     Fulton Dunsmore fonds. -- [ca.1915-ca.1935]. -- 3 photograph albums (ca.1500 prints). -- ca.850 photographs (799 negatives, ca.50 prints). -- Eben Fulton Dunsmore, 1905?-1943, was a skier and powerhouse operator at Banff, Alberta.  Fulton Dunsmore was an avid skier and hiker and was one of the first to use the Mount Norquay area. -- Fonds consists of two series:  I. Photograph albums, ca.1915-ca.1935;  II. Negatives, ca.1915-ca.1935. -- Location: V184.

I.  Photograph albums

Photograph albums. -- [ca.1915-ca.1935]. -- 3 photograph albums (ca.1500 prints). -- Albums pertain mainly to the Dunsmore family and friends; Banff and area scenes, personalities and community life; skiing, mountain climbing, hiking; Mount Norquay Ski Camp; also includes views of the construction of the Chateau Lake Louise.  -- Constitutes Series I of the Fulton Dunsmore fonds.

Negatives. -- [ca.1915-ca.1935]. -- 799 photographs : negatives. -- Consists of negatives exclusively or mainly for prints in albums. Negatives were originally in filer books with no identifications. -- Original arrangement has been retained. -- Selection of reference contact prints available. -- Constitutes Series II of the Fulton Dunsmore fonds. --Location : V184 / NA - 1 to 779.

 

III.  Prints

Prints. -- [ca.1925-ca.1935] -- ca.50 photographs : prints. -- Assorted unidentified loose snapshot photographs of Fulton Dunsmore, friends, individuals and groups, activities, etc. Similar to prints in albums. -- Constitutes Series III of the Fulton Dunsmore fonds. -- Location:  V184 / PA.
