Located 55 minutes west of Calgary, the Canmore Nordic Centre was the site for cross-country skiing, biathlon, nordic combined (skiing), and the disabled blind cross-country ski exhibition. It was constructed by the Province of Alberta at a cost of $17.3 million and officially opened December 6, 1986. |
