Ski jumping has been part of the Olympic Winter Games since the first Games at Chamonix in 1924. The small or normal hill was introduced in the 1964 Games in Innsbruck. Event scoring and event names later changed to the K120 and the K90 where a ‘K-point’ is used to calculate part of the athletes’ points.
