Neil D. Maclean was one of Edmonton's most formidable defense attorneys. He practiced law in Edmonton for 46 years before his death in 1961. Well known clients of Maclean included Vivian MacMillan (who sued UFA Premier John Brownlee for seduction), Cora McPherson, and Vernon Booher.
